There are 3 major meals that you need to eat on a daily basis.
That is Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Yes, I know there is snacks. But I’ll leave that as a topic for another day. Let’s focus on the 3 major meals you eat on a daily basis.
A lot of people skip this breakfast, eat a big lunch and then eat an unhealthy dinner. Not only that, at times, they eat this dinner very late in the night.
In fact, some people eat so late around 12 midnight!
The one thing you might not know is that WHEN and HOW you eat has a massive impact on your weight
The time you eat your meals can have a BIG effect on the following:
When you eat your skip breakfast and you eat your dinner very late, you are making your body undergo an unhealthy habit.
The times I am giving you right here, is the meal times that I recommend to my weight loss coaching students who are on the 90 Day Coaching Program here
And many of them are losing between 15kg – 30kg of fat over a 12 weeks’ period with my 90 day weight loss coaching.
The best time to eat breakfast is within 30 minutes to an hour of waking up. The ideal time for this meal is between 7.am – 8.am in the morning.
When you eat breakfast, your are giving your body enough fuel to last you till lunch so you won’t feel very hungry that will make you eat a big lunch.
Now whether you are a working-class person or not, everyone can eat breakfast.
It is called breakfast because you have been sleeping and fasting (unless you eat in your sleep)
So, when you wake up, your body wants to get going and it will need that food.
So your mum was right all along when she said breakfast was the most important meal of the day.
If you are trying to lose weight, this will help your metabolism rate and help your weight loss journey.
In an ideal world, you should have your lunch at least 4 hours between your breakfast and lunch times.
So if you had breakfast at 7 am, you should eat lunch at 12noon. If you ate breakfast at 8 lunch should be at 1pm.
If you are able to achieve this timings, lunch is a good time to eat well as you can be sure you will be burning the fat before you leave work.
The ideal time to eat dinner is between 6pm – 9pm. Whatever you do, make sure you are eating at least 3 hours before bedtime.
Please don't eat dinner later than 10pm at night. It is not healthy.
If you have had a good breakfast and a good lunch, you will be less hungry at night and won't need to eat too much.
Now, if you are reading this, and you work crazy hours, where you leave home at 4.am and get back home at 10pm…
Especially when you have to face busy traffic e.g. Lagos Traffic.
I understand that you may find it difficult to follow a well laid out eating times and you may have to do your meals slightly differently.
For working class people who won't be home on time, please find a healthy meal, wherever you are, and when you get home, have a smoothie or fruit salad.
If you follow this meal times, and you eat your healthy meals as I have always advised, you will notice that the pounds of fat will melt off your body.
